Q.银饰失去光泽、变黑的原因：

A.一般是说氧化，其实是硫化。
银(Ag)是一种固态金属，带有正电(正离子)，
容易与常态中的硫化氢(H2S)、臭氧(O3)和二氧化硫(SO2)等发生反应，产生灰黑色硫化银(Ag2S)。
简单的说就是银碰到带有硫成分的介质就会引起化学反应而变黑。
温度增高也会加快硫化的速度，就是在高温的环境变黑的速度愈快。

Q.如何避免变黑(引起变黑的因素)：

A.以日常生活中比较会引起变黑的因素来做说明，只要稍加注意就可避免变黑。
1. 橡皮圈，含有硫磺成分。煮蛋或煎蛋的蛋黄也含有硫磺成分。
2. 避免接触到水份。游泳池含有氯、海水含有氯及硫，游泳时都应避免佩带。
3. 温泉地区的空气中，气体带有硫磺的成分。
4. 车辆密集区，柴油引擎的车辆会排放出二氧化硫。
5. 运动时身体会大量排汗，汗水中含有氯化钠。
6. 含有硫的化学品。含有硫磺的香皂、沐浴乳、香水。
7. 化妆品内含有汞与硫的成分。
8. 自来水、洗衣粉、漂白水含有氯(氯酸纳)，会让银饰失去光泽。
9. 洗澡或睡觉时不宜佩带银饰。睡觉时体内正在排毒，皮肤会排出0.5至1公升的水分。

Q.平常保养：

A.1.常佩带，身体分泌的油脂会让银饰品产生温润的色泽，但是碰到汗水和化妆品及体内分泌物也会引起变黑。
毕竟每个人的身体状态都不同，生活的环境也不同，所以最起码保持自身的乾爽洁净。
2.洗澡或睡觉前取下银饰，用乾净的软布擦拭。
些许脏污可用软布或放在手掌心上，挤点牙膏来揉擦清洗。再用水冲乾净，最後用乾布或面纸将水分确实吸乾。

3.乾净後再放入盒子或夹链袋内减少与空气的接触。

Q.长期不佩带时的保养及存放：

A.1.薰黑造型的银饰，清洁时可用乾净的软布，放入加有中性清洁剂的温水，拧乾後擦拭银饰整体，
再用乾布或面纸将水分吸乾，或用吹风机热风吹乾(吹风机吹乾银饰品後会很热而烫手，等回温後再拿取)。
2.光亮银饰，清洁时可用小苏打粉加水搅和成糊状，用手指或软毛牙刷(塑胶牙刷太硬)等清洗，
再用乾布或面纸将水分吸乾，或用吹风机热风吹乾(吹风机吹乾银饰品後会很热而烫手，等回温後再拿取)。
3.乾净无水分後放入夹链袋内，再放於乾燥的盒内存放。置於阴凉处避免阳光照射。

Q.快速恢复银饰光亮的方法：

A.1.擦银布，是方便又快速使银饰品恢复光亮的方法。布内含有研磨剂成分不需另加拭银膏擦拭。
缺点是细微的地方不易擦拭，可用牙签棒类来搭配使用。
布脏时不能清洗，因为清洗会将研磨剂成分洗掉。
擦拭银饰时无法恢复光亮就不要再使用。
2.洗银水，是最有效将银饰品去硫化变光亮的方法。会腐蚀银饰表层所以会让银饰恢复光亮。
可倒出一些到有盖的瓶子，银饰浸泡(约1-10秒内)拿出後，盖上盖子放於阴凉处存放。
可重复使用至银饰无法恢复光亮为止。
有硫化造型的银饰不适合使用，会将硫化的部分也一并腐蚀。
恢复光亮後马上用清水冲洗，可搭配手指及软毛牙刷确实洗除洗银水。
有残留在银饰品上洗银水会持续伤害银饰，冲洗时要确实洗除洗银水。
对珊瑚珍珠及部分软质玉石应尽量避免使用。
浸泡：整个银饰全部浸泡，约1-10秒内拿出(看银饰恢复光亮马上拿出冲洗，浸泡过久会造成严重伤害)，
擦拭：可用软布及棉花棒沾洗银水快速擦拭银饰表面，恢复光亮马上拿水冲洗。

全职独立创作者房冠伶 (Nana Pong).第一次在The Art House 舉辦插畫和銀飾作品個人展. 她毕业於1999年南艺室内设计. 2006年开始创作插画艺术. 也在2008年初特地到台湾三菱(日本授权)学贵金属首饰创作. 通过插画作品将自己的心情故事融合在幻象的世界里之後呈现在观众的眼前. 也透过"银饰"这个特殊材质体现插画的另一层面.

Singapore-based artist from Malaysia, Nana Pong will be holding her first illustration and jewellery solo exhibition at The Art House. Graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Art with a Diploma of Interior design in 1999, she started her passion in illustration since 2006. In 2008, Nana enrolled in a one-to-one intensive course in preciousmetal creation which was authorised by Japan Mitshubishi in taiwan.

She is thrilled to showcase part of her illustration throught the precious metal. Her pieces presented are a reflection of personal experience in an imagination world. Don't miss this passionate, first-of its-illustration exhibition that will captivate you beyond your imagination.

融合插画表现和镂空雕刻手法完成创作“窥探“。一眼闭，一眼挣。看式有趣的表情，呈现窥探自己人生。黑暗内还有一颗玻璃珠，是一处看不清的层面。

Special thanks for teacher Hilda Yang. Appreciate her creatively teaching skill and sharing experience. Combined glass and pure silver material with freehand draw out illustration. This is a meaningful collection for me.

擅长插画表现。利用雕刻和半浮雕方式制作。利用发丝缠绕彩色玻璃珠。设计贴近脸颊，并利用眼神注视玻璃珠来呈现珍惜和感激的心情。

这是个简单的,单纯的作品。发自内心，发自初衷。"惜爱"是纪念师徒之作。

As with any craft product or process, individuals with special concerns should take responsibility to develop methods consistent with their situation. People with asthma or allergies should insure firing of PMC is done with good ventilation. Although it is rarely needed, appropriate protection should be taken by those with sensitive skin. Though PMC presents no known health risks, women who are pregnant or who may become pregnant should consult their physician if they have concerns.

PMC -Precious Metal Clay

Precious Metal Clay (PMC) is a revolutionary material in the jewelry world developed by Mitsubishi Materials in the early 1990's. The ingredients of PMC are micro-particles of pure silver or pure gold suspended in binder they call "clay." The binder consists of water and organic plant-based materials which feels like a soft clay to the touch. The binder or "clay" is inert and non-toxic in both its raw and fired form.

This malleable metal bearing material is a completely unique new medium to the jewelry world. It can be sculpted, pushed, pulled, carved, trailed, shaped with any variety of techniques and treated after firing with traditional fabrication and stone setting techniques.
